All Decked Out

OLD DECK
The old deck looked fine, but a while ago I went through one of the deck planks and when replacing it, I noticed the sills underneath were rotten. Not good. Better a new deck than a broken leg. Here are Black and Decker at work on the new one.

NEW DECK
The new deck was finished today

Tuffy at lunch

This cat has the unique ability to make himself invisible, especially when a car ride is in the offing. Someimes it takes hours before he is located. Maybe a diet change should be introduced. After all, beer and potato salad don't seem appropriate for a cat. Does he drink straight from the bottle?

An Eventful Weekend

Well, I finally managed to get three pictures posted. You have heard of the eventful weekend from another source, corn boil, barbecue with big meal, etc. I had a picture of the dark cloud as it rapidly approached while we were barbecuing, but it wouldn't load until I entered all the text.

Then presto, it worked. With it came a big wind which blew the barbecue out, along with lots of rain. It didn't dampen our spirits much though.

As for Tuffy, he wouldn't be in plain sight when it was time to go home. No, he was not on the dining room table, or anywhere else where he could be seen.
Now to publish, hoping it will look the same as on this compose page.

Completely fed up

I am completely fed up with this program. For the past two days I have been unable to upload images. After going through the procedure to include an image, nothing appears. I have spent hours at it with no results.

Bike Rally

I was just finishing my supper of beans and hot dogs when two bikers showed up at the door. They stayed a while and then went pedaling off up the road. Does anybody know them?

Kedji Security

Following is a copy of an e-mail I sent to Parks Canada.

"On 1st August, when returning to Yarmouth from a meeting at Bridgewater, I decided to spend a few minutes with my daughter who was camping at Kejimkujik National Park. At the gate I was told that security
regulations forbade them to tell me the location of her camp site. They suggested I check at the tourist information centre a short distance down the road. I paid the entrance fee and continued. At the information centre I was again denied my daughters location, but that I could continue and search the camping areas myself.Would you kindly explain what security risk would have been involved in helping me locate my daughter's camp site. My time was limited on that day so I turned around and came home."

I had a passenger with me and we didn't have time to start searching the camping areas.
